MY PLAYGROUND: Urban Documentary

I'm sure alot of you readers have seen this in many commercials and heard about it.
Over the past few years, Parkour has grown and is now been more respected than ever.

Honestly, I cant wait till this drops in the summer, Not only because these athletes (yea, I
consider them athletes) are doing shit that I thought weren't possible but purely because the
environment(s) this video is taken place at.

Parkour is a sport on which you have to go from one point of the city to another as
efficiently and quickly as possible, overcoming any obstacles in your way: walls, fences,
trees, etc. This has made Parkour THE urban sport, included in recent pop culture videos.

Danish film maker Kaspar Astrup Schröder is currently finishing MY PLAYGROUND, a
documentary on movement, tricking, freerunning and parkour, and its relation with the
urban spaces. This documentary will features scenes with parkour masters Team Jiyo and
interviews with urban planners, local politicians, architects and philosophers.

The Last Magazine:Issue 01

Clearly a nice idea and approach to the new magaine/newspaper.

Magnus Berger and Tenzin Wild have been at this fashion racket for quite some time. Both have been
successful models and both have had experience behind the tear sheets, too. Berger as a graphic designer
at Baron & Baron and Wild in the design departments of V and Visionaire. They’ve teamed up to create
The Last Magazine, a biannual launching this autumn and due to be fêted during fashion week.

Cool Kids.

Have any of you been able to catch the "Cool Kids" Karmaloop contest that is going on?
It started off bad I must say but now theres a few good ones out of the 40+ pages.

No, I am not here to boast or hate on the designs that are up, but I love to read "About the
designer" and see what they say, because some of that shit is to funny to pass on.

Snow Monster.

not so much of a spotlight just yet, just an intro to whats to come.

Everytime I'm at the homies Lukes (1/4th of highend) I come across or happen
to take a peak at Lorena's toys (Lobot toys). It's safe to say that they are probobly
some of the freshest toys I have seen in a while with her touch of style.

When asking Lo about her new toy (Snow Monster) that she posted a shoot for, she simply replied:

"thats a new snow moster, he's one of my new pieces for 09, but in the future im going to
do more original character dolls as opposed to what i make right now, like stuff that already
exist, so i guess i mean more imaginary characters iv had up my sleeve, it's time to make
them come to life also, and probably some more life objects, i want to do more electronics.
Oh and im going to do a series of angry/sad toys, since if you noticed i just do happy ones.
Also louie and i are collaborating on 3 toy designs so far, it's gonna b insane. Im going
to make 2009 pop hopefully."
